Pineapple Turkey Burgers
10 minutes preparation - 15 minutes cooking
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Combine ground turkey, soy sauce, pepper, black pepper, and thyme in large bowl and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well distributed. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
Place the burgers, the 4 pineapple slices and the red onion slices on the grill
After approximately 8 minutes, flip the burgers, the pineapple slices (the underside should be nice and brown) and the onion slices. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until burgers are cooked thoroughly and no longer pink in the center.
Place one patty burger, one pineapple slice and 1 red onion slice inside each bun with lettuce leaves then add your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
- 4 slices of Del Monte® Pineapple (Fresh or in Can)
- 500g ground turkey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 slices of red onion
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp thyme seasoning
- 4 burger buns, cut in half
