Pear and Blackberry Crumble

15 minutes preparation - 35 minutes cooking

step1Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.

step2Roughly chop the Del Monte® pears and place into an ovenproof dish. Add the blackberries and toss everything together.

step3Put the flour in a bowl and add the butter. Rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and porridge oats.

step4Spread the crumble mixture over the fruit and bake the crumble for 30 to 35 minutes until golden. Serve warm.



  • 1 tin Del Monte® Pear Halves, drained
  • 150g blackberries
  • 250g plain flour
  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 100g soft light brown sugar
  • 50g porridge oats
