Pork Chops with Spicy Apple Juice Sauce
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Cut the fat off the pork chops and fry them in the oil in a frying pan for a few minutes on each side. Arrange the pork chops as a single layer in a large baking dish.
In the same frying pan, cook the onion and garlic until soft. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Bring to the boil, then transfer to the baking dish, making sure all of the chops are completely covered in sauce.
Cover lightly with tin foil and bake for an hour. Serve hot.

- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 250ml Del Monte® 100% Apple Juice
- 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 50ml hot chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp mustard powder
- ¼ tsp curry powder
